Get easy access to your files over the Internet without the need to set up port forwarding rules, DDNS, or other complicated network settings. QuickConnect lets you connect to the NAS securely from any device connected to the Internet.

Storage with a capacity of up to 24TB

The Synology DS218j supports two 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives. Drives with a capacity of up to 12TB are currently supported. Other expansion ports that are supported include two USB 3.0 ports and, of course, an RJ-45 1GbE LAN port.

The NAS as a File Server

The Synology DS218j contains a fast and secure tool called DS File for sharing and managing your files. You can upload your data by simply dragging them onto your Mac or PC. Advanced filters make it easier to find your documents, photos or videos. The NAS can also be used as a centralised backup location. Whenever a file is edited, the changes are automatically backed up by the Cloud Station Backup. It synchronises files between the DiskStation and multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile as well as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, hubiC, and Baidu Cloud.

Dobrý den, zvažuji koupi tohoto NAS. Zajímalo by mě zda pro moje potřeby tj. fotky, filmy, osobní data bude postačovat HDD WD Purple? Když jej srovnám s WD Red, tak parametrama jsou nastejno. Děkuji.
