The Synology RackStation RS818+ data storage device is a high performance, environmentally friendly NAS server with a redundant power supply. The Intel Atom C2538 quad-core processor and AES-NI encryption hardware support are critical components of the NAS's extraordinary performance and corporate data transfers. With the option of expanding the RAM up to 16GB DDR3 or scaling using the Synology expansion unit RX415 up to a capacity of 8 hard drives, your business will have the ability to flexibly respond to growing demands. After the connection of the RX415 using an eSATA cable with specially designed fixing connectors, the device's gross capacity can reach up to 48TB.

Four embedded Ethernet ports with Link Aggregation and Failover support ensure reliability in the event of an unexpected hardware failure, while the removable drives, which can be removed in full operation, minimise the risk of system failure during disk replacement.
