Reliable coverage and two operating modes
The device effectively covers dead spots in your home or office where the original wireless signal is too weak or completely unavailable. Two internal, non-detachable antennas with 3dBi gain help to spread a stable signal to more remote areas. The total transfer speed reaches up to 300Mb/s on the 2.4GHz frequency, which is more than enough for everyday web browsing, managing emails, and ensuring a stable data connection throughout the designated area. The device offers flexible use within your network infrastructure by supporting two different operating modes. In Repeater mode, it repeats and boosts the existing wireless signal from your main router to other rooms. In AP mode, it functions as an access point, receiving an internet connection via an RJ-45 cable and then broadcasting a new wireless network for end-user devices. The built-in LAN port remains fully active in both modes.
Connection options and simple pairing
The plastic body houses one 100Mbit Ethernet LAN port. The physical RJ-45 connector makes it easy to connect wired devices directly to the wireless network without needing to install additional receivers. You can use the included cable to connect devices like a games console or television, even in places without a direct signal from the main router, which eliminates the need to run long cables from the central part of the building. Setup and network configuration are very fast thanks to the integrated WPS function on the device. To pair successfully, simply press the corresponding button on this extender and then do the same on your existing home router. The configuration settings remain permanently stored in the device's memory even after it has been completely unplugged, so you can move the extender as needed without having to set it up again.
Optimal placement indication and data transfer security
On the outer chassis, there is an LED signal strength indicator that helps you quickly find the most suitable socket. The diode visually displays the quality and stability of the signal reception from the existing wireless network in that specific location. The status of the indicator makes it easy to determine the best place for installation, ensuring the subsequent wireless data transfer is as stable as possible and avoiding unwanted connection drops due to excessive distance from the source. Wireless security is ensured by several encryption standards to prevent unauthorised access. The device supports WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK protocols, which protect transmitted data from misuse. The network architecture is compatible with the modern IPv6 Ready protocol, supports the NAT UPnP function for automatic network port configuration, and allows the broadcasting of a maximum of 1.0 wireless SSID.
