A switch is a functional network unit that connects individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for coordinating network traffic. The Tenda TEG1050F Gigabit Switch with SFP is made to be installed in a rack. This model impresses with a switching capacity of 100 Gb/s. The Switch has 48 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 2 SFP connectors are there to transport data via optical fibers. The switch includes technology solutions for data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It works with Dual Personality ports, notable for encompassing both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one of them can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 240 × 440 × 44mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology guarantees the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also lets you control end station priority. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit. The weight of the switch is 5000g.
