4WS RTR in 1 : The 24 is a fun and extremely maneuverable small RC remote control car model, with the new Axial AX24 chassis platform and XC-1 body. The model offers everything fans of rock climbing, obstacle crossing, and home-built trails need. Sloping side undercarriage plates with gliders help you move in tight formations. Long travel shock absorbers, 4-link suspension with solid axles and a worm gear transmission combine for easy handling, reliable power transfer and the ability to traverse rough terrain. The included Spektrum SLT3 transmitter is ergonomically designed for long, fatigue-free rides and features a foam steering wheel for precise control. The Spektrum 2-in-1 10 A controller includes a port for the possible use of an external controller.

The unique 4WS 4-wheel steering system gives the model incredible agility, variability and new ways to drive. Three steering modes are switched via the transmitter and allow - conventional steering (rear wheels not steered in a straight line), parallel steering of the rear wheels (crabbing sideways), or counter-steering (rear axle mirroring). Where other models see an obstacle, the Axial AX24 XC-1 sees a new path to conquer!

The AX24 XC-1 remote control car is not just for experienced RC rock climbing fans. Newcomers will find this is a fun and highly capable mini crawler for outdoor and indoor riding, where they can practice and hone their skills in the comfort of their home. Everything you need to operate the model is included and you can take off immediately after unpacking and charging the battery.

The durable chassis is designed to provide high height and maximum axle travel. Side sloping chassis plates allow you to maneuver around rocks, roots, and other obstacles. New to the AX24 platform are 51mm long shock absorbers, installed at a steeper angle - this allows for better articulation and axle travel so that the wheels stay on the ground and the model has maximum traction. A worm gear is used in both the front and rear axle transmissions to ensure high torque transfer and to enhance the chassis design for better off-road handling.

Steel front and rear axles provide the strength and durability needed for long journeys and tough climbs. The AX24 is a small model whose drive train operates smoothly thanks to the shaft seating in encapsulated ball bearings, which also better resist moisture. The AS-1 servos are mounted just above the axle, along with a servo-saver that allows for precise steering while protecting the servo gears in the event of a jam or impact.

For normal operation of the Axial RC car you need tyre glue, bolt glue and a tool kit. The model also uses screws in inch units, so a 1/20" Allen screwdriver is recommended. Tyre adhesive is used to glue the tyres to the rim of the disc. Always ensure that the tyre is firmly glued to the wheel rim around its entire circumference! If the tyre is not glued all the way around, the tyre may tear. The tyre adhesive has a special formulation that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, while at the same time making the adhesive flexible once it has set. For routine maintenance, you need to glue the screws. Screws screwed into metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, worm in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.
