The Axial SCX10 II Deadbolt 1:10 4WD RTR RC car features a realistic and highly rigid SCX10 II chassis constructed from steel C-braces with transverse bracing for added rigidity. The moulded skid plate significantly reduces jamming and the simplified design makes maintenance quick and easy. There is also an adjustable body mount, adjustable bumper mounts with stabilizer attachment points and a servo bed for the optional 2 speed transmission and winch. The chassis with gearbox, axle brackets, bumpers, RC equipment, body and RC kit are installed between the steel frame stringers. The model reaches speeds of up to 5 km/h. Approximate driving time on a 7.4 V 5000 mAh LiPo battery is up to 2 hours.

The Axial Deadbolt SCX10 II RC car chassis has a factory wheelbase of 305 mm (12.0"), but can be easily adjusted to a wheelbase of 290 mm (11.4") or 313 mm (12.3") (interconnect kits sold separately). Axial has designed the chassis so that all wheelbase adjustment takes place at the rear without interfering with the front. The proven LCX AX10 gearbox features only 3 gears and a durable adjustable friction clutch. The gearbox is completely covered and allows a wide range of gear ratio changes - you can adjust the gear ratio for slow or fast driving.

The rear axle suspension geometry uses a 4-element design that is optimized to reduce axle twist and torque steer. It also helps with steep climbs off elevation by having the correct anti-squat setting. The one-piece AR 44 front and rear axle features a molded beam for extreme durability. The gear is 6 mm above centre, which increases ground clearance and improves driveshaft angles. Metal shafts and internal helical gearing are standard and the drive train includes full ball bearings.

The WB8 HD Wildboar front and rear driveshafts have a larger diameter cross pin (2×11 mm) for greater strength and longer life. Oil-filled shock absorbers have threaded bodies and a single coil spring. Damping level can be adjusted to suit track requirements. Realistic dampers with multiple mounting positions allow you to adjust the suspension for maximum performance. The servo is located in the chassis frame, not on the axle itself. The servo bed allows the use of a wide range of servos.

Officially licensed METHOD 307 Hole 1.9" wheels offer durability and a clean look. The discs are equipped with a dummy beadlock ring. The Nitto Trail Grappler M/T is a 4.7 × 1.9" (120 × 48 mm) tyre made from S30 compound. The tyres give the Axial SCX II Deadbold RC car sufficient ground clearance for off-road tracks. The large tread block offers excellent traction. The Spektrum S614 servo has a torque of 15 kg. cm, metal gears and waterproof construction.
The included Spektrum SLR 300 3-channel RC receiver has channels for throttle, steering and auxiliary functions. Connected ports can be used to power LED lighting or other accessories. Two-channel RC transmitter Spektrum SLT 2 operates in 2.4 GHz band with FHSS modulation. The transmitter is powered by 4× AA batteries. The receiver box located on the side plates allows easy access and reduces the center of gravity. Three silicone gaskets are included: one for the antenna, one for the servo wires (contains three slots for three channels) and one that acts as a seal for the box cover. Part of the RC model car Axial SCX II Deadbold is electronic controller Spektrum 40A.
