The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 4WD Rock Crawler 1:10 RTR is a powerful and affordable RC model, ideal for expedition driving and rock climbing enthusiasts. Built on the proven SCX10 III platform, it offers robust construction and excellent handling characteristics. The drive is provided by an Axial Slickrock 35T 540 DC motor, powered by a Spektrum 40A waterproof controller. The control is provided by a Spektrum S664 servo with metal gears and a thrust of 15 kg. cm. The control is realized by a three-channel Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and a Spektrum SR515 DSMR receiver. The model comes RTR (Ready-To-Run), ready to go after adding a 2S or 3S LiPo battery with EC3/IC3 connector and a compatible charger. Steel frame and advanced suspension for a stable ride
The model is equipped with a steel C-profile frame that provides strength and minimizes chassis twisting. The LCXU transmission with one gear and metal internal gears provides a low centre of gravity and the option to upgrade to standard axles. Front suspension is optimised to reduce bump steer effect,while the four-link rear suspension reduces torque.
Portal axles and realistic details for off-road model
The model is fitted with AR45 portal axles, which increase ground clearance and improve ground clearance. Oil-lubricated shock absorbers with aluminium coils and adjustable springs allow you to tune the damping as required. Black Rhino Primm wheels with Falken Wildpeak M/T tyres provide excellent traction. Polycarbonate bodywork with realistic details, such as DeMello Off-Road bumpers, rock sliders, mirrors, snorkel and other accessories.
