How to play?

Each player is dealt 6 cards. The beginning player chooses one of his cards, places it face up on the table and describes it verbally. It's up to him whether he limits himself to one word or makes up a whole story. The others add one of their cards to it. The cards on the table are shuffled and then spread face up. Now the other players use their number chips to guess which card the starting player has described. Points are then awarded based on the correctness of the tickets. The game ends with the last card in the deck.

Dixit 6 Memories brings new dimensions of childhood memories and emotions to the world of Dixit. Includes 84 new cards with original illustrations that can be used alone or shuffled into the base game. The cards can be used with the base game components for more variety, or you can use them for a standalone game of Dixit (in which case you would need to get your own scoring board and voting chips and know the rules of the game). The cards offer a colourful mix of nostalgic scenes, childhood adventures, fantasy worlds and emotional moments from childhood. The illustrations capture playful scenes, magical moments, imaginary friends and unforgettable experiences. Here you will find pictures full of colour, joy, but also subtle melancholy and dreamy imagery typical of a child's world. Each card is a small work of art that evokes memories and offers countless possibilities for creating stories and associations.

Meet the illustrators

Carine Hinder is an illustrator who focuses mainly on work for publishing, games and animation. She worked as a 3D animator for 10 years before devoting herself fully to illustration and design. In her studio she now creates images full of joy and positive energy that characterize her work. Jérôme Pélissier is a French illustrator of children's books and board games. A graduate of the Estienne School of Editorial and Medical Illustration, he started his career in the games industry as a 2D/3D animator and artist. After 15 years in the game industry, where he also held the position of art director of a well-known game publisher, he has been fully dedicated to children's illustration as a freelancer since 2018. Together they have created a charming set of illustrations for Dixit 6 Memories that perfectly capture the magic and nostalgia of childhood.
