KREUL JAVANA Tie-Dye, Cool Blue, 70g
Kreul JAVANA powder fabric dye is used for hand dyeing and batik. It is suitable for a wide range of natural fabrics such as cotton, viscose, linen, wool and silk. The dyeing takes place in a water bath, the temperature of which can be selected according to the type of material and the desired technique. This makes the dye suitable for dyeing at temperatures from 50°C to 95°C, which you will appreciate for wax batik, for example.

Dosage for the Right Shade Intensity
The dye is supplied in a resealable bottle, which makes it easy to measure out, mix the powder and store it for later use. You can easily adjust the intensity of the final shade by the amount of fabric used. For a rich and intense shade on 200g of fabric, the entire 70g pack is sufficient. If you want to achieve a medium-rich tone, use the same amount of dye to colour approximately 400g of dry fabric.
For Natural Materials and Creative Techniques
The dye is intended primarily for natural fibres such as silk, cotton, viscose, linen, half-linen, wool and also for polyamide. The minimum temperature of 50°C required for dyeing extends its possible uses. It is therefore suitable for wax batik, where a higher temperature could damage the wax pattern. You will also appreciate it for tie-dye, as the lower temperature is gentler on more delicate fabrics and the materials used for tying.
Composition and Subsequent Care of Textiles
The dyeing powder already contains a fixing salt, which helps the colours last. The product's formula is purely vegan. After dyeing and setting, it is important to care for the textiles properly so that they retain their new look for as long as possible. Wash dyed items separately at a maximum of 40°C. The fabrics are not boil-proof. To further increase colour fastness and wash resistance, the manufacturer recommends using a separate fixing agent from the KREUL range.
