
Mamoli Amerigo Vespucci is a detailed non-floating model of the famous Italian school sailing ship from 1931 in 1:150 scale. In the stylish box with a photo of the finished model you will find high quality wooden plywood parts, mouldings, metal castings, rigging and a plastic blister with small parts. The hull is double skinned. The wooden parts are produced using a laser, which ensures high precision of the individual parts. The kit also includes clear 1:1 scale drawings and detailed instructions, making it easy to build your model. There is also a stand for displaying the finished creation. Wooden model Mamoli Amerigo Vespucci is suitable for experienced modellers. Modeling tools are required for assembly and are not included.


Amerigo Vespucci is a school sailing ship of the Italian Navy, which still serves as a symbol of the Italian Navy. She was built at the Castellammare di Stabia shipyard and launched on 22 February 1931. The ship, with an overall length of 101 m, has three masts, a steel hull, a draught of approximately 7 m and a displacement of 4146 tonnes at full load. The standard crew consists of 16 officers, 70 enlisted men and 190 sailors. Together with the Naval Academy cadets, the total number of crew members can reach up to 450.
