The MAMOLI Golden Hind kit is a detailed rendition of Sir Francis Drake's famous ship, which he used on his legendary circumnavigation of the world in 1577. This English galleon, with a hull length of approximately 25 metres and a displacement of 120 tons, was armed with 18 guns and became a symbol of the 16th century British navy. The model is made in 1:53 scale and offers a historically faithful likeness of this sailing ship. The finished model is 495 mm long and 408 mm high. The kit is intended for intermediate modellers and corresponds to difficulty 2 out of 3.

The MAMOLI Golden Hind 1577 kit contains high quality wooden parts made of plywood, precisely cut by modern laser technology wooden strips of various cross-sections, a rich set of metal parts, cast fittings, rigging and decorative details. The package also includes a set of drawings with a construction plan, a list of individual parts and detailed instructions in English. The double hull formwork is a standard part of the kit, which contributes to the greater strength of the model and a better result in the final machining.

The model is not intended for sailing, it serves solely as a decorative display piece. The box is stylishly designed with a photo of the finished model and contains the name, technical data and scale. Thanks to the high level of detail and authentic design, the MAMOLI Golden Hind is the ideal choice for anyone interested in the history of overseas exploration, the construction of historic sailing ships or who wants to enjoy the quiet and careful work of model making. For successful assembly of the model we recommend to buy suitable modelling tools, dispersion or second glue, quality brushes and acrylic paints. The result is a beautiful replica that will delight any lover of ship modeling and maritime history.
