The Proboat Recoil 2 V2 speed boat with its Self-Righting Deep-V hull delivers maximum performance and fun. It features quality Spektrum electronics, Smart technology, and can reach speeds of up to 55 km/h. This new version includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter, a SMART 3S 3200mAh battery, and a Spektrum charger. It's powered by a brushless, water-cooled motor with a 100A controller. Everything you need to hit the water is included in the package. The Recoil 2 V2 delivers immense excitement with a new, aggressive style and advanced electronic features like self-righting and high performance. The Spektrum 2300Kv Mariner brushless motor, paired with a high-performance 100A Spektrum controller, can push speeds close to sixty kilometres per hour. The hull is made from durable ABS material with a finished colour scheme. The boat measures 660mm in length and comes fully equipped with a drive system and electronics. It holds its course excellently, accelerates quickly out of turns, and has high stability. Like all other ProBoat models, the Recoil 2 V2 is ready to run. A Horizon 2.4GHz 4-channel wheel RC set is included.

Self-Righting function

The Self-Righting function is incredibly practical – it flips the boat back over if it capsizes. Simply press the 3rd channel button on the transmitter, and the boat is instantly back on the water, ready to go again. The new hull design of the Recoil is completely unique – drive without worrying about the boat flipping over. Everything you need to operate the model is included in the package: a 2.4GHz four-channel transmitter and receiver, a Spektrum brushless controller, a Pro Boat waterproof servo, a SMART battery and Spektrum charger, a boat stand, and even AA batteries for the transmitter. The Spektrum Smart 3S 3200mAh drive battery and Spektrum S120 USB charger form a complete set, letting you head straight to the lake.

SMART technology for hassle-free operation

The Recoil 2 V2 boat model set is equipped with SMART technology, including a SMART battery and charger that enable automatic charging without any setup required. Just turn on the charger, connect the battery, and the process will start and stop on its own. It also includes the new Spektrum 100A brushless controller, specifically designed for the boat's automatic self-righting function. It allows for rapid changes in rotation direction (forward and reverse), which, when paired with the programmed button on the transmitter, activates the Self-Righting function – a single press flips the capsized boat back onto the water. Power is provided by a Spektrum 4335/2300Kv brushless motor, which has an integrated weight on its rotor. This plays a key role in the self-righting function while also reducing the load on the drive system.

Quality construction and durable components for maximum performance

The Recoil 2 V2 model features a sophisticated Deep-V hull that significantly aids the Self-Righting function – if it capsizes, the boat easily flips itself back over thanks to the hull shape and the motor's weight. The hull canopy is securely fastened with four aluminium screws, while an EVA rubber seal around the perimeter ensures a watertight seal and prevents water from entering the hull. Precise and reliable steering is handled by a waterproof Pro Boat servo with 5.3kg of torque, designed for demanding conditions and ensuring trouble-free operation even in contact with water. Anodised aluminium components, such as the rudder with its bracket and the adjustable shaft mount, give the drive unit high durability and a long lifespan. The anodising also provides protection against oxidation and contributes to the model's professional appearance. The flex shaft drive makes it easy to adjust the angle of the output shaft and, consequently, the propeller's angle of attack, which allows you to fine-tune the model's behaviour for different types of water surfaces. At the stern of the hull, you'll find stainless steel stabilising and trim tabs, used to fine-tune the boat's handling characteristics. They are highly robust, resistant to damage, and enable precise adjustments to both stability and directional control.

Unrivalled handling and practical details for everyday use

The Recoil 2 hull, combined with its rudder system, has been precisely tuned for high performance and maximum stability, even in sharp turns. Thanks to its low centre of gravity and carefully designed rudders, it's among the models with the tightest turning radius – it handles fast turns with absolute confidence and no risk of capsizing. For added safety in case of an accident or a poorly secured canopy, buoyancy foam is placed in both the canopy and the hull, helping to keep the boat and its parts afloat even if flooded with water. After your run, you'll appreciate the practical stand included in the package. It features foam strips that protect the bottom of the boat from damage and prevent it from sliding during maintenance or battery changes.

What you need for operation and safe maintenance

For longer run times and greater convenience, it is recommended to get a spare LiPo battery and, above all, a more powerful charger to significantly reduce charging time. The model can be powered by a 3-cell LiPo battery (11.1V) with a capacity of up to 5000mAh. It is recommended to use high-quality batteries with a discharge rating of 50–100C and an IC3 or EC3 connector, ideally in a Hard Case design.

Protective bags for batteries: For safe transport and charging, it is recommended to use protective LiPo bags, which minimise the risk of damage. LiPo batteries are high-performance but also sensitive to mechanical impact, so protection is essential.
