The Proboat Recoil 2 V2 speed boat with its Deep-V Self-Righting hull delivers maximum performance and fun. It features high-quality Spektrum electronics, Smart technology, and reaches speeds of up to 55 km/h. This new version includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter, a SMART 3S 3200mAh battery, and a Spektrum charger. It's powered by a brushless water-cooled motor with a 100A controller. Everything you need to get going is included in the box. The Recoil 2 V2 brings immense excitement with a new aggressive style, advanced electronic features like self-righting, and high-performance capabilities. The Spektrum 2300Kv Mariner brushless motor, paired with a high-performance 100A Spektrum controller, can propel the boat to speeds approaching sixty kilometres per hour. The hull is made from durable ABS material with a factory-finished paint scheme. At 660mm long, the boat comes fully equipped with its drive system and electronics. It holds its course excellently, accelerates quickly out of turns, and offers high stability. Like all other ProBoat models, the Recoil 2 V2 is ready to run. A 4-channel Horizon 2.4GHz wheel RC set is included.

Self-righting feature

The Self-Righting feature is incredibly practical, flipping the boat back over if it capsizes. Just press the 3rd channel button on the transmitter and the boat is instantly back upright on the water, ready to go again. The new hull design of the Recoil is completely unique – drive without worrying about the boat flipping over. Everything you need to operate the model is included: a four-channel 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver, a Spektrum brushless controller, a Pro Boat waterproof servo, a SMART battery and Spektrum charger, a boat stand, and even AA batteries for the transmitter. The Spektrum Smart 3S 3200mAh drive battery and Spektrum S120 USB charger create a complete set that lets you head to the lake right away.

SMART technology for hassle-free operation

The Recoil 2 V2 boat model set is equipped with SMART technology, including a SMART battery and charger that enable automatic charging without any setup. Simply turn on the charger, connect the battery, and the process starts and stops by itself. It also includes the new Spektrum 100A brushless controller, designed specifically for the boat's self-righting function. It allows for rapid changes between forward and reverse rotation, which, combined with the programmed button on the transmitter, activates the self-righting feature – a single press flips the capsized boat back onto the water's surface. Power is provided by the Spektrum 4335 / 2300Kv brushless motor, which has an integrated weight on its rotor. This plays a key role in the self-righting function while also reducing the load on the drive system.

High-quality construction and durable components for maximum performance

The Recoil 2 V2 model features a sophisticated Deep-V hull that significantly aids the Self-Righting function – if it capsizes, the boat easily rights itself thanks to the hull's shape and the motor's weight. The hull canopy is securely fastened with four aluminium screws, while an EVA rubber seal around the perimeter ensures it is watertight and prevents water from entering the hull. The Pro Boat waterproof servo with 5.3kg of torque provides precise and reliable steering. It's designed for demanding conditions, ensuring trouble-free operation even when in contact with water. Anodised aluminium components, such as the rudder with its mount and the adjustable shaft strut, give the drive unit high durability and a long lifespan. The anodising also provides protection against oxidation and contributes to the model's professional appearance. The flex shaft drive makes it easy to adjust the angle of the output shaft and thus the propeller's angle of attack, which lets you tune the model's behaviour for different water conditions. On the stern, you'll find stainless steel stabilising and trim tabs for fine-tuning the boat's handling characteristics. They are extremely strong, resistant to damage, and allow for fine adjustments to the boat's stability and directional behaviour.

Unrivalled handling and practical details for everyday use

The Recoil 2 hull, combined with the rudder system, has been precisely tuned for high performance and maximum stability, even in sharp turns. Thanks to its low centre of gravity and carefully designed rudders, it's one of the models with the tightest turning radius – it handles fast turns with absolute confidence and no risk of capsizing. For added safety in case of an accident or a poorly secured canopy, buoyancy foam is placed in both the canopy and the hull to help keep the boat and its parts afloat even if flooded with water. After your run, you'll appreciate the practical boat stand included in the package. It's fitted with foam strips that protect the bottom of the boat from damage and prevent it from sliding during maintenance or battery changes.

What you need for operation and safe maintenance

For longer run times and greater convenience, it is recommended to get a spare LiPo battery and, above all, a more powerful charger, which will significantly reduce charging time. The model can be powered by a 3-cell LiPo battery (11.1V) with a capacity of up to 5000mAh. It is recommended to use high-quality batteries with a discharge rate of 50–100C and an IC3 or EC3 connector, ideally in a Hard Case version.

Protective battery bags: For safe transport and charging, it is recommended to use protective LiPo bags to minimise the risk of damage. LiPo batteries are high-performance but also sensitive to mechanical impact, so protection is essential.
