Splendor Marvel game progress
In the board card game Splendor Marvel, you'll find yourself in the middle of a battle for the Infinity Stones that are scattered throughout the Multiverse. Your mission is to use their essence to recruit heroes and villains, gain infinity points and control strategic locations. During your turn, you can collect Infinity Stone tokens, which you then use to hire character cards. These not only give you infinity points, but also bonuses that allow you to gain more powerful heroes in later turns. Once you have collected enough bonuses, you can take the corresponding location, which will bring you additional points. The game culminates when a player meets the conditions set by the Infinity Gauntlet - collecting 16 points, their own bonus cards in all five suits and a green token (Time Stone). At that point, the final round is triggered to determine the winner of the entire game.
History of the game and its creators
The Splendor Marvel board game is an innovative reworking of the original Splendor, which has gained huge popularity worldwide. The Marvel version of the game was launched in 2020 by Space Cowboys. The game was created by French game designer Marc André, who is also the creator of the original Splendor. In 2014 he was nominated for the prestigious Spiel des Jahres award. The Czech localization of the game was launched shortly after the release of the original, which allowed Czech players to quickly try out this new feature in their native language.
