Tickets, please! Legacy - Legends of the West finally gives you the chance to step into the story of your favourite train game. Authors Rob Daviau, Matt Leacock and Alan R. Moon will let you peek into their imagination. You will embark on a journey across twelve games. Lead your North American railroad company to riches and prosperity in an adventure-filled campaign. Your main objective will be to complete tickets, but you'll need to develop other skills if you plan to overcome unpredictable events and your resourceful opponents. Game by game, track by track you will continuously fill your coffers with earnings. As the story progresses, you'll open expansion boxes that unlock new rules, content and many other surprises. Just like the previous games in the Tickets, Please! series, this game is quick to learn, but it delivers a much more intense experience and story that is sure to please all fans of the franchise. Story to the game
The 19th century is drawing to a close and America is booming. New rail companies are racing to meet the needs of a growing population. Traders, officials, food and goods travel from place to place. A complex network of railway lines is emerging. Thaddeus Reeves was one of the young entrepreneurs who dreamed of connecting entire states, and he achieved success far beyond even his wildest dreams. Reeves' railroads quickly built a lucrative network from the Atlantic to the Mississippi, and the company had a bright future. But greedy rail barons are watching Thaddeus' growing rail empire and wondering how to get rid of him. The years go on and Reeves Railways continues to grow and prosper. Your new rail company is ready to enter this exciting industry. The newly purchased steam locomotives are a promise of opportunity and wealth, and the new express network could make a difference. With a feeling of satisfaction, open the newspaper and read the news from the West.
For whom the game is intended
Tickets, please! Legacy: Legends of the West is designed for 2 to 5 players aged 10 and up. You should allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes per game, and the first game may be shorter.
