Traxxas Blast RTR green

The Traxxas Blast RTR brings Traxxas speed, fun and quality to the water in a way you wouldn't expect with this affordable boat. The Blast boat is powered by a water-cooled DC motor and a water-resistant controller with radiator. It is fully assembled and ready to go. It is controlled by the proven Traxxas TQ RC kit with a 3-channel receiver, which is stored in a waterproof box. A modern USB-C charger is now included for convenient charging of the included battery.

Hull

Blast is always ready to take on the waves. Its stable 24" Deep-V hull with excellent hydrodynamics cuts through the water like a knife. Includes a wealth of propulsion and propeller shaft tilt adjustment options. Built-in foam floating fillers are incorporated into the hull to protect the model from sinking in the event of an accident. The overall appearance of the fuselage is completed by design graphic decals.

USB-C charger

Included in the package is a NiMH battery pack and a modern fully automatic 40W USB-C charger. The charger can charge 6 to 7 cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 4 A. The USB-C charger can be powered by any USB adapter and connected with a USB-C cable. Steering outdrive, Stinger engine

An Outdrive turning system is used to steer the boat, which guarantees high agility and fast turning reactions. This is due to the pivoting propeller, which is connected by a universal joint to the propeller shaft. The propeller thus acts as a rudder. The powerful Stinger DC motor has 20 turns on the anchor and is 30% faster than conventional motors of this size.

Nautica controller, TQ receiver

The waterproof Nautica controller provides smooth, fully proportional control. The controller supports power supply by NiMH battery. The controller does not contain a reverse. The Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe, interruption-free steering. Easy one-button pairing. LED status indication. The model is controlled by the Traxxas TQ two-channel proportional steering wheel RC transmitter, operating in the 2.4 GHz band = interference-free operation. The transmitter is powered by only four AA cells.

Recommended accessories for smooth operation of the model

For proper operation of the model it is necessary to add 4× AA batteries to the transmitter. It is recommended to power the USB-C charger with a powerful USB adapter to get the most out of it. Mains power requires a USB adapter and USB-C cable, which are not included. It is therefore recommended to use the Traxxas USB-C 45W power adapter and the Traxxas 100W USB-C cable with a length of 1.5 meters. It is recommended to lubricate the shaft with special grease for boat shafts before each trip, or use a grease gun with Marine grease. To extend the ride time, it is also recommended to purchase a spare 6-cell Traxxas 7.2V 3000mAh NiMH battery pack.
