Safe and extremely easy charging of Traxxas batteries, thanks to iD technology. Just plug in the battery with the iD connector and the EZ-Peak Plus charger will set everything up optimally! The charger is very powerful and has a charging current of up to 8A. Traxxas iD system All Traxxas iD batteries have an integrated chip in the connector that the charger detects when plugged in, thus identifying the battery type and optimally setting all charging parameters. In addition, the charging connector for LiPo batteries also has balancing cables integrated in it for maximum simplicity. This eliminates the need to connect the power and balance connectors separately. Modes for LiPo batteries Fast Charge mode is used for fast charging of LiPo batteries. Charging is terminated as soon as any of the cells reaches a terminal voltage of 4.2 V. Storage mode is used for long-term storage of batteries (more than 7 days). The charger charges or discharges individual battery cells to 3.8 V, ensuring the lowest possible degradation of LiPo cells during storage Balance mode is used for standard charging of LiPo batteries. Charging is terminated when all cells have reached a final voltage of 4.2 V Modes for NiMH batteries
