The TP-Link Deco PX WiFi system is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh system that replaces traditional routers in homes with challenging wall layouts. The device combines the wireless band with Powerline HomePlug AV2 technology at 1000Mb/s, creating a stable wireless network throughout the entire building, regardless of obstacle thickness. This system provides a total wireless speed of up to 1501Mb/s, with each 500g unit measuring 16.9×10.5×10.5cm to blend in with its surroundings.

WiFi connectivity and speed
This system uses the Wi-Fi 6 standard for wirelessly connecting end devices in your home. In the 2.4GHz band, it offers a speed of 300Mb/s. MU-MIMO, OFDMA, 1024-QAM and BSS colour technologies transfer data to multiple devices simultaneously and prevent interference from neighbouring networks. This lets users connect up to 120 active devices for smooth handling of demanding data transfers and high-definition video streaming.
Coverage with Deco Mesh technology
AI-Driven Mesh technology with 802.11k/v/r protocols analyses the surrounding environment and automatically adapts the network according to user behaviour. The integrated Powerline HomePlug AV2 technology with a speed of 1000Mb/s uses existing electrical wiring to transmit data through thick walls and ceilings that dampen a standard wireless signal. The system works with all other Deco models, which allows for easy expansion of coverage by simply adding another unit to the existing network.
Security
The TP-Link HomeShield security system provides comprehensive tools for managing your home network and protecting connected IoT devices. WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 standard encryption, together with an integrated firewall, protects the network from external cyber threats and blocks unauthorised users. Parental controls make it easy to set time limits, filter inappropriate content, and generate statistics. The QoS feature prioritises selected applications.
Connectivity
Each unit has three gigabit Ethernet ports with automatic WAN/LAN detection and one physical reset button. These interfaces offer a fast wired connection for desktop computers, TVs or game consoles with support for IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. Users can choose between standard router mode and access point mode. Power is supplied by the included adapter with a unit power consumption of 14.5W.
