The Ubiquiti UniFi G5 PTZ camera captures its surroundings in high resolution (2688 × 1512 pixels) and offers a wide-angle field of view with a horizontal angle of 99.7°. It is powered by the PoE+ standard and operates reliably in a temperature range of -30°C to 45°C. Integrated infrared illumination provides visibility in complete darkness up to 20m away. Advanced algorithms process intelligent person and vehicle detection for accurate real-time event evaluation. The IP66-rated design withstands adverse weather conditions.
The optical system includes a varifocal lens with a focal length of 3.42 to 6.85mm and an aperture of ƒ/1.85 to ƒ/2.4. The 1/2.7" CMOS sensor captures video at a resolution of 2688 × 1512 pixels at 30 frames per second. The horizontal viewing angle is 99.7° and the vertical angle is 51.9°. H.264 compression reduces data rate requirements and saves storage space.
For monitoring in low-light conditions, the camera uses integrated white LED lighting along with an infrared illuminator. The night mode uses a built-in mechanical IR cut filter and provides infrared illumination with a mechanical IR cut filter for a clear image in complete darkness at a distance of up to 20m. The camera automatically switches between day and night modes depending on the intensity of the ambient light. The system operates without user intervention, maintaining constant surveillance over the monitored area.
Integrated algorithms perform continuous image analysis and support AI perimeter protection. Advanced Motion Detection 2.0 provides precise recognition of people, vehicles, and animals directly in the camera's frame. If motion is detected or a selected area is breached, the system activates a light alarm and sends an instant notification to the user's mobile phone, providing an immediate overview of the event.
The aluminium and polycarbonate body, with IP66 and IK04 ratings, withstands temperatures from -30°C to 45°C. The positioning mechanism supports motorised rotation of 350 degrees horizontally and 100 degrees vertically, with 2× optical zoom. Power is supplied via PoE+ with a voltage of 37 to 57V and consumption up to 14W. Recordings are saved directly to cloud storage. The design is ready for wall or pole mounting.
Network connectivity is provided by a single 10/100 MbE RJ-45 Ethernet port. All settings and management via the UniFi Protect mobile app are available on Android, iOS, or Windows. The system operates with ultra-low latency for smooth, real-time video streaming. The device meets NDAA legislative standards and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications for operation in various network infrastructures.
