Spring motifs

The VILLEROY & BOCH tableware set includes two 220mm dessert plates, two 0.6L bowls, and two 0.4L mugs.
High durability
At the German porcelain factory, the porcelain undergoes a firing process for 6 to 8 hours at a high temperature of 1230°C in gas kilns. The subsequent cooling to 650°C, about halfway through the firing process, creates a strong body structure for everyday use. This technological procedure prevents the material from cracking easily and increases the overall mechanical resistance of the individual porcelain pieces to damage.
Manufacturing process
After the first firing of the tableware body and the application of the coloured decor, the next stage of processing takes place in energy-efficient kilns. The third firing lasts exactly 75 minutes and fixes the coloured decor to protect its appearance from external influences. This process prevents the colours from fading with long-term use and protects the decorative motifs from wear and loss of colour.
