High Potency Calcium & D3 is a dietary supplement designed to effectively replenish calcium in the body and also to maintain calcium levels. The effectiveness of the supplement is achieved thanks to the content of three forms of calcium - calcium hydroxide from the alga Lithothamnion sp., calcium citrate and calcium ascorbate, together with vitamin D3 - cholecalciferol, whose effect is very significantly related to the correct level of calcium in the blood.
High Potency Calcium & D3
Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body; up to 99% of its reserves are stored in bones and teeth, where it supports their structure and function. This supplement uses a blend of three forms of calcium to ensure that each capsule delivers an effective dose. Calcium hydroxide is uniquely extracted from Lithothamnion calcareum, a marine source of calcium.
Vitamin D is an important nutrient that helps the body build and maintain functional bones, muscles and teeth. More recent research shows that it also promotes normal functioning of the immune system and normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. In this supplement, vitamin D is contained in a vegan plant form derived from the lichen cholecalciferol - 200IU.
