It is used to connect the cash drawer to the POS system, the adapter allows you not only to open it, but also to check its status . It uses the USB port of the connected device for its power supply. Via the Virtuos adapter you can control 24V sockets via the RS-232 serial bus. The length of the cable is a decent 1.2 meters.
