Capacity
The 18TB storage is designed for centralising and long-term storage of large volumes of data. The 3.5" hard drive can hold extensive projects, collections of photos in RAW format, or system backups. Use it to expand your computer's internal storage or as a separate backup unit to organise your data in one place. By storing hundreds of hours of high-definition video or millions of documents, you can free up space on your computer's primary drive.
Fast file transfer
The drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface to communicate with your computer, which is backwards compatible with the USB 3.0 standard. This connection supports fast data transfer when copying large files, reducing waiting times during backups. Efficient data transfer streamlines work on large projects, such as video editing or managing extensive photo archives. A USB cable with a Micro-B connector is included in the package for connecting to your device.
Connection and system compatibility
The manufacturer formats the drive for Windows 10 and newer operating systems, with which it works using the plug-and-play methour This means no driver installation is required after connecting to your computer. To get it working, simply plug the included power adapter into the mains and connect the drive to your computer with the USB cable. Full functionality with macOS requires reformatting the drive to a compatible file system.
