Wi-Fi 6 and high transfer speed
The device uses the Wi-Fi 6 standard and operates on two frequency bands. 2×2 MIMO and OFDMA technologies handle data requests from multiple devices at once without unnecessary network congestion. The transfer speeds for each band are up to 300Mbps for the 2.4GHz band and up to 1201Mbps for the 5GHz band.
Mesh system for the Xiaomi AX1500
Xiaomi's proprietary mesh technology connects up to 10 compatible network devices into a single unit. Users can move freely throughout the house, as the system switches mobile phones between nodes without dropouts, with millisecond-level latency. The self-healing connection automatically restores the signal path if one of the nodes fails.
Security standards and data protection
Home network protection uses modern encryption protocols and access control tools. BSS Colouring technology is also available, which reduces mutual interference from neighbouring wireless networks and increases transmission efficiency. The security features include WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE encryption, wireless access control with whitelists and blacklists, a hidden SSID, and IPv6 protocol support.
Connectivity
The Xiaomi AX1500 router's connectivity includes four gigabit Ethernet ports with speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps. The self-adaptive ports with Auto MDI/MDIX support automatically detect the connected cable, so you don't need to distinguish between the WAN and LAN interfaces. The wired connection stabilises data transfer.
