A network switch is an active network component connecting individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for coordinating network traffic. The Zyxel GS192024HPV2 is made to be mounted in a rack. This type impresses with a switching capacity of 56 Gb/s. The Switch has 28 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 4 SFP connectors are there to transport data via optical fibers. It works with Dual Personality ports, notable for including both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one can be used at a time. The switch dimensions are 441 × 44 × 270mm. QoS aka Quality of Service technology ensures the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also allows you to control end station priority. The ZyXEL device works with PoE technology, which provides power and signal connection to end devices with a single LAN cable. Moreover, the switch provides efficient management and settings options. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit. The switch weighs 3800g.
