A network switch is an active network unit that connects individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for controlling network traffic. The Zyxel GS2210-8HP is made to be mounted in a rack. This model has a switching capacity of 20 Gb/s and 1.5 piece(s) packet capacity. The Switch features 8 RJ-45 ports that facilitate connection with network elements. 10/100/1000Base-T technology enables file transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. The switch dimensions are 330 × 230.5 × 44.5mm. QoS aka Quality of Service technology ensures the switch stays within its capacity, and it also enables you to control end station priority. The ZyXEL device works with PoE technology that provides power and signal connection to end devices with just one LAN cable. Moreover, the switch provides effective management and settings options. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit. The switch weighs 2703g.
