It features a 24.2 megapixel sensor that provides the perfect balance of detail, speed and performance. With this camera, you don't even have to worry about the weather - its design is weatherproof.
The full-format Canon EOS R8 can also take great videos
Not only great photos, but also perfect video is the domain of the Canon EOS R8. By oversampling the 6K sensor data, it can conjure up 4K Ultra HD video footage at up to 60 frames per second. If you're new to shooting videos, vlogs or streaming, you'll appreciate the simple and creative options the Canon EOS R8 offers. And if you've already done some of that, don't despair, the camera still offers plenty of advanced features - False-colour indicator, outline highlighting when focusing, striped overlays make it quick and easy to assess the correct exposure and digital zoom.
Object of the magic of slow motion

The recording will retain details in dark shadows and areas with the highest brightness levels thanks to the wide dynamic range. Canon EOS R8 makes creating slow-motion shots super easy - the camera allows you to shoot at up to 180 frames per second, and with slow-motion you'll be able to enjoy all the details, even the hidden ones, that you wouldn't even notice at normal speed.

It handles tracking moving objects - people - to the edges of the frame, cats, psi, birds, cars, trains or planes.
