Zigbee Protocol
Communication with surrounding elements is handled by the Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol. This standard requires a compatible gateway for remote control, which mediates the connection to the home network. The fast and energy-efficient connection to the gateway maintains stable data transmission even over longer distances. Stored time programs run locally in the head even if the internet connection is lost.
Programming Options
The device offers weekly and daily temperature scheduling modes. Users have up to six different time slots for each day with individual temperature settings. Weekly scheduling with six time slots allows you to precisely follow the daily routine of household members. Settings can be adjusted for the days of the week in 5 + 2, 6 + 1 or 7-day modes.
Temperature Regulation
The control range is from 5°C to 35°C in 0.5°C increments. An integrated temperature sensor monitors the current conditions in the room and adjusts the valve opening. Temperature calibration for more accurate readings eliminates differences between the temperature at the radiator and in the middle of the room. The adjustable temperature also serves as frost protection for the pipes.
Open Window Detection
The head automatically reacts to a sudden drop in room temperature caused by ventilation. When it detects an open window, it reduces the heating to prevent heat loss. Automatically reducing heating while ventilating a room saves on energy costs. The user can choose between automatic, manual, holiday or eco mode.
Compatibility
The system works with many smart home apps including Tuya, Lidl Home and Immax NEO PRO. Support for Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa voice assistants makes it easy to control with voice commands. Wide support for smart home apps makes it easy to integrate into an existing ecosystem. The app interface communicates in Czech, Slovak, English and other languages.
Power and Installation
The device is powered by three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. These cells last for eight to ten months of operation, depending on the intensity of use. The backlit LCD with a digital display shows the current battery status and the set temperature. The M30 × 1.5 thread and the included adapters fit Danfoss, Caleffi, Giacomini and M28 valves.
