With the I-TEC station's USB 3.0 ports, you can connect a variety of different devices such as a keyboard, mouse, printer, external disk, audio system, internet modem, additional monitor, and more. This feature makes it unnecessary to disconnect and re-connect each time you decide to take your notebook or tablet with you. Also, a nice bonus is your desk will be better organised without the clutter of cables.

External monitor

The station is equipped with three graphical outputs, allowing you to use virtually any display. The HDMI interface is capable of transmitting picture and audio, while the Display port and the DVI-I interface are particularly suited for connecting professional monitors that support the highest resolutions. However, only two of these ports (DVI-I in combination with HDMI or Display Port) can always be available. If you connect monitors to HDMI and Display port at the same time, the docking station will automatically default to the Display port and disconnect the HDMI port.
I-TEC Metal's graphics chip supports Full HD + resolution ( 2048 x 1152px for HDMI and DVI-I, 2560 x 1600px for Display port ). In addition, I-TEC Metal has its own powerful graphics controller that will not burden your notebook, tablet, or PC. The station features a gigabit network card, audio input/output and three USB 3.0 ports. Via the USB 3.0 port on the back panel of the docking station, you can charge devices that are compatible according to BC 1.2 specifications such as the iPad or Samsung tablets. The I-TEC Metal Docking Station is not dependent on a laptop's platform, so it offers you the ultimate flexibility.

Faster internet connection

Even if Wi-fi network connectivity is very comfortable,  but you want optimal performance without compromise, then you can choose the wired connection over the Gigabit Ethernet port. Unfortunately, modern equipment is often lacking, but with the Metal dock, you get easy access to a 10/100/1000 Mbps network. You can rely on the high-speed internet without any unintended interruptions.
