The Astrid i-Size has been rigorously tested by the German ADAC Institute, where it achieved an excellent score of 2.2 points (4 stars). The car seat was evaluated in the categories of safety, ergonomics, ease of use and pollutant content. Thanks to its sophisticated design, it achieves the maximum number of stars regardless of the installation method, whether using seat belts or an ISOFIX base. The Tough PP plastic shell reinforced with EPP material effectively absorbs shock, while Memory Foam in the headrest reduces impact overload. An advanced side protection system protects the most sensitive parts of the child's body in a side impact.
Thoughtful comfort for little travellers
Astrid i-Size grows with your child. The reducing insert with lumbar support provides the right ergonomics for newborns and ensures comfort even on longer journeys. Once the child grows up, the inserts can be easily removed to increase the space. The Dri-Seat system helps to wick away moisture and maintain an optimal temperature. The headrest is adjustable by 7 cm, making it easy to adjust the height of the harness to the child's current height. Soft overlays on the shoulder straps protect sensitive skin, while the canopy provides reliable shade when travelling in the sun.
