Collagen peptides, also known as hydrolyzed collagen, are small, easily soluble pieces of protein that are produced by a controlled process called enzymatic hydrolysis. This process gradually breaks down the original collagen, which in its natural form is stored in the form of a solid triple helix - a thick and hard-to-digest structure.
