The Air 3 drone has a high-capacity battery that allows it to fly for a maximum of 46 minutes. Omnidirectional obstacle sensing and O4 video transmission ensure safety during flight. The DJI Air 3 drone can take 48Mpx photos and 4K HDR videos. Advanced RTH is a given, allowing the drone to automatically plan an optimised flight path to return safely to its starting point as quickly as possible.

The DJI Air 3 features 2 primary cameras
The DJI Air 3 drone boasts two primary cameras—a wide-angle with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and a large 1/1.3-inch CMOS camera with 3× zoom. Both cameras have the same size sensor but a different focal length, so you can look forward to consistent image quality and more dynamic imaging options. With the wide-angle camera, the drone better captures the diverse camera view, while the telephoto camera with 3× zoom provides spatial compression with a unique perspective from any angle. Both of the DJI Air 3 drone's cameras support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour modes.
Longer and safer flight with the DJI Air 3 drone
The drone's battery provides up to 46 minutes of flight time, which is 48% more than the previous generation. This gives you plenty of time to explore, adjust your composition and get great shots. An omnidirectional vision system takes care of the DJI Air 3 drone's safety during flight. This allows the drone to detect obstacles in all directions. When detected, the DJI Air 3 drone can use the advanced APAS 5.0 system to perform evasive manoeuvres smoothly.
The drone offers improved transmission performance with O4 Video Transmission
The DJI Air 3 is equipped with the new O4 video transmission system, which gives the model better and more stable transmission performance. The maximum range is up to 20km while maintaining increased stability. Live transmission is possible in a maximum quality of 1080p/60fps, which will ensure you can smoothly watch your DJI drone's flight.
The DJI Air 3 drone offers a range of intelligent features
Keep your subject of interest in the centre of your shot at all times with the FocusTrack function. The DJI Air 3 drone's medium telephoto camera provides unprecedented spatial compression when capturing subjects. This enhanced system, combined with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, allows you to capture well-thought-out shots anywhere, anytime. With QuickShots, the DJI Air 3 drone can create unusually creative camera movements, including Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Boomerang and Asteroid. The drone supports 2.7K vertical shooting with both cameras, which gives the footage a high degree of dynamism. The vertical shot output from the 4:3 CMOS sensor creates clips optimised specifically for a smartphone. You can then share your creations on social media right away without further editing. MasterShots gives the drone the ability to automatically perform camera movements, shoot clips and enhance them with music, effects and edits. The DJI Air 3 drone uses an advanced noise reduction algorithm to handle low-light or night shots. Another great feature is the ability to take time-lapse shots in 4K horizontal or 2.7K vertical resolution. In HDR mode, the drone's camera can record a greater dynamic range with built-in contrast enhancement.
Companion LightCut App
Connect to the DJI Air 3 drone wirelessly using the LightCut app on your smartphone and enjoy new creative possibilities. For example, with One-Tap Edit, you don't have to download all your footage during the process, saving storage space on your smartphone. With One-Tap Edit Tilt-Shift effect, the app intelligently selects clips based on composition and flight path and then automatically assigns a suitable template and sound effects. This allows you to quickly and easily create impressive videos.
Plan your routes in advance
The Waypoint function has been newly implemented in the Air 3 series, allowing you to pre-plan flight paths and shots for the DJI Air 3 drone. This allows you to make difficult camera moves to achieve breathtaking shots. You can save your created flight paths so you can repeat the same manoeuvres with absolute precision later. You can use this feature, for example, if you want to use the DJI Air 3 drone to create time-lapse shots with transitions, for example from day to night or from season to season.
