Benefits of the Sony Alpha A6700
Sony Alpha A6700 has AI-assisted autofocus
Artificial intelligence is everywhere, and the Sony Alpha A6700 APS-C mirrorless camera is no exception. Specifically, it uses it for autofocus. The camera accurately focuses on the desired subject and can track it across the entire frame during shooting and filming, even from a distance. The AI processor can assess the subject's posture, so you won't lose focus on their eyes even after they turn their back on you. You can quickly move between different objects - from human eyes, to birds, animals, vehicles and insects. The Sony Alpha A6700 Hybrid always refocuses smoothly. Experienced photographers will benefit from the ability to switch to Continuous Direct Manual Focus (DMF) mode, allowing them to explore the potential of focus grading for high-resolution shooting.
Create quality content in 4K
The Alpha 6700 takes some of the best features from the Sony Cinema Line. Enjoy 10-bit 4K recording (downscaled from 6K) at up to 30p with 4:2:2 sampling. The Sony Alpha 6700 Hybrid Camera can also capture slow-motion 4K footage at up to 120p.
Stable shots anywhere, anytime
With its compact design, active stabilisation, S-Cinetone/S-Log3 profile and intelligent auto composition, the Sony Alpha 6700 is the perfect camera for creating cinematic shots on the go. You'll create stable shots in every situation, backed by AI-powered automatic composition. Experienced videographers can take advantage of features such as breath compensation, LUT preview, and quick video function menu (Fn) on the Sony Alpha 6700 hybrid camera.

Extraordinary details from 70 to 350 mm
The optical and mechanical design offers super telephoto zoom performance for APS-C (105-525mm equivalent) camera bodies. The impressive quality of the G-Series lens is maintained throughout the zoom range to the edges of the image. All this is packed into a compact mobile super-telephoto lens with 5x zoom and integrated optical image stabilisation.
G-Series lens with focal lengths up to 350 mm
One aspherical element and three ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements in the optical design suppress aberration throughout the zoom range, including chromatic aberration that can cause problems at super-telephoto focal lengths. Images are exceptionally sharp and rendered at any zoom across the entire image area. Another advantage of the G Series telephoto lens is the amazing bokeh effect.
XD Linear Motor in APS-C Lens
The APS-C format lens is equipped with Sony's XD linear motor and offers fast and accurate autofocusing. Combined with the real-time autofocus function provided by the latest compact APS-C camera bodies, you get a high-performance and easy-to-use system for landscape, wildlife and other subjects. The SteadyShot optical image stabiliser switch, focus lock button, zoom lock switch and dust and moisture resistant lens control ensure maximum reliability in harsh conditions. All this is complemented by the lens' portability, making it a professional tool you can rely on wherever you go.

More Specifications
Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
