The EIZO CG277 - ColorGraphics is a part of the ColorEdge range of professional monitors with colour range capability of 99% coverage of the AdobeRGB colour standard (1998) and even 100% coverage of the IEC61966-2.1 sRGB standard.
The monitor is easy to calibrate thanks to an integrated calibration sensor that can also be autocorrelated and maintain the monitor for long periods of time without the operator touching the calibrated condition.
Professional calibration function
The latest CG - ColorGraphics models feature an integrated
calibration sensor for easy and fast calibration. Moreover, the monitor can be easily on a regular basis re-calibrated fully automatically using the sensor to maintain its status since the last calibration.
Correlation of the internal sensor according to the external calibration probe
The EIZO ColorNavigator 6 software allows
correction of the internal sensor according to the results measured by the external calibration sensor. The internal sensor then acts as an external sensor and the user can keep it hidden in the drawer and rely fully on the integrated calibration sensor for subsequent calibration. Correlation is also used in workplaces where not all monitors are equipped with an integrated calibration sensor, while ensuring the same
calibration accuracy
for all monitors in the workplace .
Homogeneous image
Homogeneous image is achieved by automatically correcting luminance and colour deviations of individual pixels = DUE (Digital Uniformity Equalizer). The deviations of brightness and chromaticity of individual pixels cause the so-called "inhomogeneity" of the image, which varies according to the ambient temperature and the brightness and white point of the monitor. The result is different colour rendering of the displayed photos located in different parts of the image area.
This issue is by EIZEM's patented technology of electronically corrected luminance and colour correction for individual pixels that is optimised for the brightness and white point of the monitor and for which EIZO uses the DUE (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) technology. The new enhanced DUE circuitry also solves the screen's homogeneity not only independent of the brightness of the monitor, but also at the set white point temperature!
Individual calibration of each ColorEdge monitor
Each single piece of the ColorEdge (CS/CX and CG) model series is individually calibrated using accurate calibration probes before leaving the EIZO production line. This guarantees minimum manufacturing deviations between the individual pieces and thus the ease of use of the so-called "generic" (= average diameter) colour profiles of the individual models.10-bit DP (DisplayPort)
The CS/CX and CG models are automatically
equipped with a modern DP (DisplayPort), which is also equipped with additional support input electronics for processing both 8-bit and 10-bit video inputs from modern graphics cards. The monitor is able to display up to 1 billion colours at a time, and
transitions between very close colour shades can be displayed much more gently and accurately than ever before!
Automatic input switching including shared peripherals (mouse, keyboard)
For seamless connection to modern PCs, there are 10-bit DP (DisplayPort), 8-bit DVI-D inputs and newly also HDMI, which is able to process not only encoded RGB but also YCbCr data up to
1920 x 1080 resolution! The monitor is also
equipped with two USB streams that allow continuous switching of up to two video inputs, including the sharing of two USB peripherals (eg keyboard and mouse). Switching the appropriate video input will automatically assign the USB keyboard and mouse to the computer connected to the currently active video input. For example, the keyboard and mouse can be shared with two PCs without switching them.

very fast response of 6ms (G-G) coupled with the possibility of
manual image sharpening, which eliminates the boundaries of the concept of "slow" IPS monitors.

Excellent black in dark rooms as well
The surface of the screen is equipped with a new
semi-matt coating that greatly improves the delivering of black colour, which is no longer "brighter" from lateral viewing angles, ensuring consistent contrast even in relatively dark rooms. Another pleasant feature of the new surface layer is
