The new processor and OLED panel work together to deliver authentic contrast and perfect colours

Enjoy shots full of colour and detail thanks to the XR cognitive processor and the use of a cutting-edge OLED panel with a total of 8 million self-illuminating diodes. The image will be more dynamic, with deep blacks and natural tones. And you can forget about reflections or halos. With the Sony Bravia 8, there's no image distortion even when viewing from an angle, so you can watch movies in your living room with a large group of people.

Sony Bravia 8A astounds with superb sound

Sony has taken sound quality to the next level, equipping the Sony Bravia 8A Smart TV with Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology. This turns the TV screen itself into a speaker. Actuators placed under the panel invisibly vibrate the screen to create acoustics that move with the action. The Sony Bravia 8 supports Dolby Atmos technology, which delivers full-bodied surround sound. With Acoustic Center Sync, you can take your home cinema to the next level. The feature works by synchronising the TV's sound system with the centre channel of a compatible Sony soundbar, turning it into your centre speaker.

The Sony Bravia 8A and PS5 form a powerful duo

The TV automatically detects when a games console is connected and switched on. It then automatically switches to auto low latency mode on the HDMI 2.1 interface. This allows you to enjoy smoother gameplay on the Sony Bravia 8A TV. This will be especially appreciated by players of fast-paced and demanding games (FPS action, sports and racing games). The auto HDR tone mapping feature ensures that you won't miss a single detail even in very dark shadows. There's also support for PS Remote Play for streaming games from your Playstation remotely.
