The ARCTIC Freezer 8i is a compact processor cooler designed for Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets. Its low-profile 136mm height ensures maximum compatibility with tall RAM modules and other components close to the processor, making it an ideal solution for compact cases. The cooler includes an Intel contact frame for optimised contact pressure distribution, which extends the processor's lifespan and improves heat transfer. It comes with high-performance ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste pre-applied, allowing for immediate installation without any additional preparation.

Quiet and efficient operation
The P10 PWM fan with a fluid dynamic bearing ensures exceptionally quiet operation thanks to the low friction of the plain bearing. The fan runs pleasantly quietly at low speeds and under variable loads. PWM regulation provides automatic speed control in the 200–2300RPM range, and the fan stops completely (0RPM) when the PWM signal is below 5%. The asymmetrical arrangement of two direct-touch copper heat pipes optimises heat transfer from the base to the 46 aluminium fins, each 0.4mm thick, ensuring even heat distribution.
Quality and compatibility
The package includes only mounting hardware for Intel systems, which reduces packaging waste and saves unnecessary material. The Intel contact frame optimises pressure distribution on the processor, which, in addition to improving heat transfer, contributes to a longer CPU lifespan.
