Tango vs. Daydream

Tango technology consists of a set of sensors and computer vision software, which allows for the ZenFone AR's augmented reality capabilities. Enjoy playing AR games and get your phone to navigate you through buildings or in the underground. You can also virtually move objects or remodel rooms and much more.

Google Daydream opens the door to virtual reality. It requires the Daydream View, a special headset and controller, which can be purchased separately. With its brilliant WQHD Super AMOLED display with ultra-smooth graphics and high-fidelity sensors that precisely track head movement, the ZenFone AR provides you with an outstanding user experience.

High-quality display and TriCam system

The ZenFone AR's 5.7" WQHD 2560x1440 display offers a 79% screen-to-body ratio. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 4, which ensures enhanced screen durability even if you carry your phone around in your bag or your pocket.

The ZenFone AR comes equipped with TriCam, an innovative system consisting of three rear cameras — a motion tracking, depth sensing, and high-resolution 23Mpx camera. They enable the phone to create a three-dimensional model so it can see the world just like you do. The phone goes even further, allowing you to place virtual objects in your actual environment or measure the distance between real-world objects with the help of the depth sensing camera with an infrared projector.

It is designed to deliver sufficient performance to run the advanced technologies and ensure smooth running of Google Android 7.0 Nougat. With its 6GB of RAM, Qualcomm Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and Vapor cooling system, the ZenFone AR makes no compromises.

SonicMaster 3.0 technology provides immersive audio to go hand in hand with the image quality provided by the Super AMOLED display. It allows you to enjoy 7.1-channel surround sound with 42% less distortion. It is also able to output high-resolution audio to compatible devices at 24-bit/192kHz.
