An excellent, thermal, insulation tape for improving the performance and life of your vehicle. The DEI isolation bands are designed primarily to wrap the exhaust ducts and other areas of the exhaust system. Wrapping can reduce the temperature under your vehicle's hood by up to 50%. In addition, heat cannot emanate freely from the ducts, which reduces overheating by other parts of the engine. The air under the vehicle's hood is kept cooler, and the more it can cool, means the more your engine can maintain power. This package includes a 4.5m long 50mm wide band. Design Engineering Thermal Insulation Tape comes in black.

The tape provides lower temperatures, better duct penetration, high-quality ventilation and more.With Design Engineering tape, you get lower ambient temperatures, with less engine overheating, which includes electronic components, which are prone to overheating.

Easy to use

If you want an excellent tip to maximise the tape's effectiveness, the manufacturer recommends using DEi HT Silicone Coating thermal spray. Apply this product to the prepared surface, then moisten the tape roll and apply (see Fig. video).  It is not recommended that you thoroughly soak the tape.
