The Contec CMS50D oximeter is suitable for use at home, on the road and in medical facilities. It is intended for non-invasive measurement of hemoglobin oxygen saturation, in the arethral part of the bloodstream, and heart rate. It is a suitable tool for asthmatics, people with heart disease, but also athletes and those who move at great heights. To measure, it uses two light rays with different wavelengths, which fall on a finger inserted into the device. It measures the saturation of the blood with oxygen in the range of 0-100% and the heart rate in the range of 30-235 beats per minute.
