This easy-to-install switch connects network devices at gigabit speeds and can power them with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. With this power supply, you do not have to limit the distance from electrical outlets. With PoE, you have far more options to find the right placement. A typical example of PoE network elements are wireless APs, IP phones, IP cameras, and other switches.

It will take care of Auto MDI/MDI-X and Auto-Negotiation
The switch does not need any configuration. Installation is fast and easy. Auto-MDI/MDI-X eliminates the need to use crossover cables to connect to another switch or router. Auto-Negotiation analyses the baud rate of the connected network device and intelligently sets the switch to achieve optimal transmission conditions. Filtering and store-and-forward switching maximises network performance and reduces the transmission of bad packets.
