The FiiO E17K ALPEN 2 is a miniature portable DAC with a headphone amplifier that has a unique precision machined all-metal body. The device can be used as an uncompromised handheld headphone amplifier or as an external DAC connected to the USB port of a computer or digital output (coaxial). A significant output power (>200 mW) is available for virtually any headphones with high volume. The sound can be tuned to bass and treble with the built-in electronic equalizer. The device also features an adjustable gain (GAIN 0/6/12 dB). 

On the front is an OLED display with a resolution of 128x64 pixels and an indicator that displays the battery status, the volume control and other functions of the device. In comparison to the previous model, it replaces the cluttered operation control with the multifunction knob on the side. And with an end of clicking when selecting on the OLED display - just simply hover to where you need it. Also, other optional features are available - the volume setting, volume limit, automatic key lock and programmable shutdown.
