In addition to a high-quality camera, every professional photographer needs a variety of lenses designed exactly for the kind of photography they specialise in. If you are looking for a lens with excellent optical properties, this model could be ideal. Its system consists of twenty-three elements in sixteen groups, with five optical elements made of ED glass and one of Super ED, comparable to fluorite lenses. This ensures maximum reduction in chromatic aberration and extremely powerful resolution and performance.

Optical Stabilisation
The optical stabilisation system is a key part of this brilliant lens and helps to produce excellent image quality. Complemented by an enhanced gyro sensor and unique series of algorithms, this lens features the most effective image stabilisation in its class.
Superfast autofocus
The Triple Linear Motor autofocus system delivers smooth, near-silent performance, perfectly suited not only for snapshots and portraits but also for capturing fast-moving subjects in sports or nature photography.
Special lenses
The optical elements have a special HT-EBC (High Electron Beam Coating Transmittance) coating applied to the entire surface. The coating was developed by Fujifilm and is complemented by the newly developed Nano-GI (Gradient Index) coating technology. Together they suppress ghosting and flare, resulting in a sharp and clear picture.
Waterproof
Due to its high-quality construction and seven seals, the lens is weather-resistant and can cope with freezing temperatures. You can shoot in the rain, snow, or even when freezing with -10°C below zero.
