The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is the first smartwatch with built-in inReach technology, which gives you peace of mind on your travels via LTE and satellite connectivity. If you need help, simply trigger an SOS communication for emergency support from the 24/7 Garmin Response coordination and rescue centre. With a Garmin smartwatch, you can safely venture off-grid up to 80 kilometres from the coast. inReach technology lets you send messages and location information as soon as you establish a satellite connection—no need to connect the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro to your phone. With LTE connectivity, you can leave your phone at home during your activities and still send/receive messages or make calls. You can also share your LiveTrack™ location with your family or friends. If the watch detects an incident during selected activities, it sends a message with your current location via your paired smartphone. You can also trigger this feature manually in an emergency.
Durable design, great display and long battery life
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro combines a premium design with a highly durable construction and a titanium bezel. The high-quality 1.4-inch AMOLED display is protected by sapphire glass, which is highly resistant to scratching. The smartwatch has water-resistant buttons and metal sensor protection. The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is also suitable for diving (down to 40 metres) and meets US military standards for resistance to temperature, shock, and water. The high-capacity battery provides up to 15 days of use in smartwatch mode.
Practical features of the Garmin smartwatch
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro watch pairs easily with both Android and iOS phones. The built-in microphone and speaker make it easy to make Bluetooth calls from a paired mobile phone. If your watch is connected to an LTE network, you can also make calls without needing to connect to a smartphone. It naturally displays notifications from your smartphone apps. You also get a built-in music player with support for offline listening from services like Spotify or Deezer (a subscription may be required). Via Garmin Pay, you can add a copy of your regular payment card to the Fenix 8 Pro (if your card supports the feature), enabling convenient contactless payments.
The Garmin Fenix watch has precise GPS navigation
High durability and a long battery life make the watch ideal for outdoor activities. For this purpose, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro is equipped with an electromagnetic compass with automatic tilt correction, a barometric pressure sensor, an altimeter, and a depth gauge. You can plan routes directly on the watch or in the Garmin Connect mobile app. Precise positioning is ensured by a satellite receiver with support for GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO satellite systems and a multi-channel Multiband GPS receiver. The SatIQ technology ensures optimal satellite reception settings by automatically switching between multiple satellite signal reception modes to optimise accuracy and save power.
Sports features for beginner and advanced athletes
The sports features are among the main reasons to choose a Garmin Fenix series watch. The watch uses a system of sports profiles dedicated to individual sports activities. Each sports profile has its own settings and specific functions for that particular sport. The watch is suitable for most sports activities, both indoors and outdoors. The activities where the watch is most commonly used include: walking, running, cycling, swimming, skiing, triathlon, rowing, weight training, yoga, golf, and many other sports. A new feature of the Fenix 8 Pro is the dive computer function for recreational freediving and scuba diving to depths of up to 40 metres. The watch is now fitted with inductive buttons with haptic feedback and increased water resistance. Even underwater, you can control the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro using the buttons without risk of damage.
Garmin Fenix 8 Pro provides more accurate health monitoring for a healthier lifestyle
The Garmin watch is capable of continuously measuring and recording health and activity data day and night. This primarily includes values for heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen level, breathing rate, daily step count, floors climbed, and minutes of intense activity. From these measured values, the watch derives other functions and metrics, such as Body Battery, Stress Score, heart rate variability status, temperature and altitude acclimatisation status, and more. The group of health monitoring functions also includes features for measuring sleep duration and quality. In addition to an overall sleep quality score, the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro also measures individual sleep stages, including short naps, and provides recommendations for achieving better sleep and recovery.
From 1 July 2026, TOPO Czech V5 PRO vouchers will no longer be included with newly delivered (dispatched) devices. This change is based on an internal decision by Garmin, which you can find here.
