Ingredient Description
- Bacterial lysates - Put the immune system on alert and activate defence mechanisms against respiratory and other infections. They are obtained from bacteria that are among the common causes of upper respiratory tract infections. These are harmless particles that cannot cause disease on their own but retain certain characteristics specific to the original microorganisms. The mechanism by which they work has been known for over a hundred years. They are mainly used to activate natural immunity. The immune system serves to defend the body against foreign substances and microorganisms that naturally occur in our environment. The cells of the immune system are constantly learning to recognise these foreign substances and remove them from the body. When the body is exposed to a controlled dose of inactivated bacterial strains, our defence system immediately switches on its receptors. The immune system is thus “trained” and natural immunity can be triggered so effectively in times of increased threat to the body that nothing will get you down.
- Vitamin C - Is one of the most important vitamins and performs many roles in the body. Because humans cannot produce it themselves, they depend on dietary intake. Vitamin C is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system. It is indispensable for the health of bones, teeth, cartilage, ligaments, blood vessels and gums, as it contributes to the formation of collagen, which is their basic component. An increased need for vitamin C occurs during periods of increased exposure to adverse environmental influences, during flu season, with colds and other infectious diseases, during stress, increased physical exertion, etc. Smokers, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people living in polluted environments have a particularly increased need for vitamin C.
- Zinc - Zinc is key to the function of the cells that provide the immune response. It plays an important role in DNA synthesis, protein metabolism and cell division. Zinc is involved in immune functions and in obtaining energy from nutrients (= normal energy metabolism). It supports fertility and sperm quality and promotes optimal testosterone levels.
Dosage and Method of Use
Let 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth (do not chew, do not swallow) 3× a day. The recommended duration of use is 10 days, then take a 14-day break and continue for another 10 days at the same dosage.
