Rust-Oleum Dacfill is a waterborne and waterproofing coating designed for pitched roofs. It is an effective waterproofing system for roofs with a slope of at least 5%, chimney cladding, etc. It forms a durable rubber coating - an elastic sheath without joints or seams that is non-flammable and self-extinguishing. In addition, it can be reinforced with the technical Dacfill Fleece fabric. Coating consumption depends on many factors such as the porosity and roughness of the substrate and the loss of material during application.

Use:
The substrate must be clean and dry, free of flakes, grit, dust and dirt. Fill the joints with Elastofil, bond the active cracks with technical fabric "Dacfill Fleece" and apply one of the following primers.
For aerated concrete, hard PVC and polyester: Example 44HS
On very smooth concrete: NOXYDE - diluted 25% with water
For steel and iron: NOXYDE - undiluted
Asphalt/Bitumen: PARAFIX
Roofing or bitumen materials older than 1 year can be painted directly with Dacfill. Zinc, galvanised steel, copper, lead and aluminium can be repainted directly with Dacfilm after degreasing and light sanding. To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly mixed before application. The use of Dacfill Fleece is essential for any pitched roof.
Application:
Apply with a flat brush or long-haired roller: dilute with water if necessary
Airless airless spray application, nozzle: 18-23 / pressure: 220 bar
Airmix air spray application: Not recommended
