The Yale 5140/18 fire-rated mortice lock secures fire-resistant doors. Its latch bolt mechanism with key action operates a double-throw deadbolt, which ensures the door leaf is firmly locked. Thanks to the reversible latch bolt, it is suitable for installation on both left and right-handed doors. The lock is designed for use with a standard cylinder. Key dimensions for installation are a 90mm pitch and 50.5mm backset. A white zinc finish protects the mechanism against corrosion.
