The iRig 2 is the new enhanced version of the highly successful guitar and bass iRig interface. It contains everything that its predecessor provides, offering powerful sound and ease of use. In addition, it includes some enhancements such as versatile profit control, 6.3mm output for amplifier, and support for Android smartphones. Of course, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac are supported.

A perfect partner for playing

Integrated output for the amplifier opens new possibilities for use, especially when using AmpliTube software. It's an advanced guitar and bass effect processor that gives you a huge library of diverse effects, amplifiers, and other features commonly used in production. Whether you jam with friends, practice new skills, record in a studio or play live, you will always appreciate its abilities. If you want to be quiet while playing, just plug the headphones into a 3.5mm connector.

Additionally, the iRig 2 includes a switch that lets you choose between processed signal effects and a clear "pass-through" signal. This means you can use your mobile device as a tuner, recorder, or any other device and still get 100% signal clarity.

Simple connection

The iRig 2 was made for broad compatibility with various musical instruments and mobile devices. It includes a universal 3.5mm TRRS output that works with iPhones, iPads, iPod touchs, Macs, and some Android devices.

The integrated 6.3mm input works with a guitar, bass and any other instrument that generates line output. Simply connect the required tool to iRig 2 as well as an amplifier or combos.

And because the volume level is different from the tool, the iRig 2 includes a gain control knob that allows you to customize the input/output level exactly to your needs. You get the perfect output whether you plug a powerful electric guitar with humbuckers into your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or jazz electro-acoustic into the iPhone 6.

Usage on Android devices (tablets and phones)

Do you have a smart device with Android? The iRig 2 is compatible with many brands of Samsung, LG, Motorola, HTC and others. Any device running Android 5 or later and a 3.5mm connector that uses CTIA/AHJ wires is usable with the iRig 2. AmpliTube for Android is compatible with Android-powered devices that support Samsung Professional Audio. These include Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge, the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3.

Dobrý den, používám iRig 2 zapojený do ipadu přes redukci USB c/jack, nahrávám baskytaru do aplikace i rig recorder. Mám problém se zpozděním signálu, které je slyšitelné ve sluchátkách. Dále signál ve sluchátkách je velmi slabý /v aplikaci naplno, na irigu naplno, v base je nová baterka/. Dále je v nahrávané stopě stále určitý dost hlasitý šum, který se mi nepodařilo odstranit. Dobrý den. Rád bych se zeptal, zdali toto zařízení by bylo možné propojit mezi syntezátor s Midi pětikolíkovým konektorem, a Ipadem Apple mini 2. Syntezátor používám jako Midi kontroler.
