Performance of the new generation
The latest, fifth-generation processor, Intel Core i7 5500 can manage all office applications with ease and the graphics are handled by the Integrated Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5500, which also allows you to play some less demanding games.
More energy-efficient
The new generation of Intel processors, if compared to the original, is a little bit more energy efficient and therefore, the 4-cell battery in the notebook Yoga 3 can last as long as the 6-cell one in the previous model of Yoga 2 tablet. The efficiency of the preinstalled operating system Microsoft Windows 10 Home is ensured by 8GB RAM and 128 GB SSD, for fast running of all applications.
An amazing, large display
Another positive change is that you'll get a screen that grew by almost 2 cm in diagonal, while the body of the laptop is only a few millimetres different, so nearly identical to its predecessor. The display uses a fine resolution of Full HD and superior display technology, IPS, which is characterized by greater viewing angles and true colour integrity.
The emphasis is on practicality
Practicality of the IdeaPad Yoga 3 14 is also underlined by other tweaks, such as the micro HDMI output for connecting a TV or monitor. It has also a memory card reader and a webcam. Present are two USB 3.0 ports, one of which can be used to charge mobile phones and one USB 2.0, which also serves as a connector for power.
