Energy-saving operation

Thanks to 16Nm production technology and new architecture Pascal, the manufacturer boasts not only significantly higher performance, but far greater efficiency. Expected consumption is therefore only 120W, but the performance is comparable to the GTX 980 which uses up to 165W.

 

Advanced technical capabilities

MSI GTX ARMOR 3G 1060 OC Volunteer Force represented 1,280 CUDA cores, 80 texturing and 48 rendering units. The GP106 is running at a clock rate of 1749 MHz in Boost mode. The graphic chip joins six GB of GDDR5 memory with a data throughput of 192GB/s.

Enhanced Edition from MSI

The graphics card MSI GTX OC ARMOR 1060 6G uses the latest technology to meet the requirements of the most advanced displays, including the VR. This is also helped by the use of quality components and a non-reference cooling system, which uses two-dimensional fans which blow a large passive cooler for the most effective heat dissipation.

The ARMOR series of cards is also provided with a truly impressive black-and-white design, which is very attractive, especially when combined with the MSI Krait motherboard products.
