Nikon D3500 je malá, lehká a levná digitální zrcadlovka určená především začínajícím fotografům, kterým je přizpůsobeno jednoduché ovládání a velká nabídka automatických funkcí. Zaujmout však může i náročnější uživatele, kterým se nechce nosit těžká výbava, protože nechybí ani stále oblíbené poloautomatické režimy či plný manuál. Nemluvě pak o snímacím čipu, který patří k absolutní špičce, a to i ve srovnání s mnohem dražšími modely. Nikon D3500 má také přímo skvělou ergonomii, velkou výdrž baterie, mimořádnou nabídku příslušenství a bezdrátovou komunikaci Bluetooth. V této sadě navíc se skvělou cenovkou a hned dvěma objektivy.
Chybět může snad jen dotykový a vyklápěcí LCD monitor na zadní straně. Osobně bych pak také doporučil připlatit si na set s objektivy typu VR, tedy s optickou stabilizací.

It offers an ergonomic deep grip and convenient button placement around the 3" LCD. You also have the ability to share your photos and videos through SnapBridge. In addition to using standard micro USB and HDMI, the Nikon D3500 also offers the Bluetooth 4.1 wireless feature. Supporting a wealth of sharing and tagging possibilities, the D3500 features built-in SnapBridge connectivity to permit seamless transferring of imagery to a mobile device. BLE technology enables communication between the camera and a smart device. In addition, the camera can be remotely controlled by the smartphone to take photos.
